Regarding Musk’s new Tesla pay package: How much is your ADHD worth?

Tesla’s board is giving Elon Musk $29 billion (a record compensation for a CEO) to “keep him focused” on Tesla.
I have questions:
- Are they actually scared he’ll quit?
- Which is worse for Tesla in the short-run, Musk’s leadership or him quitting?
- Which is worse for Tesla in the long-run, Musk’s leadership or him quitting?
- Would a lower number than $29 billion have accomplished the same goal? How did they come up with that number?
- Can you pay an ADHD person to concentrate?
- Which is more effective for ADHD, ketamine or billions of dollars in compensation?
- Does this mean Musk won’t start a new political party, or is that party not included in the “keep him focused” part of this compensation?
- Is “stop pissing off the President of the United States, a government that regulates your product and pays you subsidies” included in the terms associated with the pay package?
- Is this intended to fuel more hallucinatory fantasies like the Cybertruck and “full” self-driving that runs people over and costs the company $243 million?
- How does this package address Musk’s forays into conservative politics and “DOGE” work that have damaged the brand and alienated millions of Tesla owners and potential owners?
- Does this mean he won’t worry about Starship rockets that are blowing up at SpaceX?
- I have some ADHD qualities. Where do I line up to get paid this like this?
all of this!
I wonder if they’re more worried about what he might say rather than what he might do?
