Donald Trump’s “Truth Social” site launches with a resounding “Oops!”
After receiving a solicitation from the Republican Party to join Donald Trump’s “Truth Social” social network, I decided to try it out.

Although the solicitation says it is “Live,” the sign-in page asks you to join a waiting list.

Since you have to agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, I wanted to read them. Here’s what you get when you click on those links (both the same screen)

And here’s what you get when you put your name in and click “Sign up” .

Go ahead. Try it yourself.
Should I feel bad for all those people who invested in Trump’s new media company?
Information highway: “Should we take the 404, Devin? Or the 405?”
I’m sure it will ready and “perfect” in 2 weeks
Now I get “Error 1020” from the site – or rather, from Cloudflare who is providing protection and caching for the site.
I wonder if they have already been DDOS’ed?
Almost certainly.
I tried the subscribe from South Africa. I got this:

Apparently 1-1/2 BILLION people were on the App Store looking at it. 1.5 billion didn’t download but even a small percentage would overwhelm any system. Didn’t anticipate that kind of demand.
I saw where you got the 1.5 billion number but it is completely implausible. There are only 1 billion Apple device users on the whole planet.
hope he builds hotels better than websites, or does he just name them?
